Dharmasthala

Want to awaken your spirituality from within? Explore Dharmsthala and Southadka for the same. Dharmsthala is a 800 years old temple town that has temples dedicated to various deities such as Lord Shiva, Tirthankara Chandraprabha and other protective Gods of Jainism Kalarahu, Kalarkayi, Kumarasvami and Kanyakumari. Each of the temple has some folklores associated with it that you will hear when you visit the place.

Southdka is another untouched pilgrim center which is 20 km away from Dharmsthala. Locally, it is known as Maha Ganpati Kshetra. Here, the idol of Lord Ganesha is majestically placed amidst serene atmosphere under a tree. Even this place has an interesting story which explains the placement of Ganesha’s idol in cucumber meadow.
