Activities
Day 1: Overnight journey to Udaipur
Report at the meeting point by 7 pm as the bus will leave for an overnight journey to Udaipur by 7:30 pm.
Day 2: Arrival at Udaipur and local sightseeing
Upon arrival in the morning, we will check-in the hotel. Give the body some rest for such long journey. After freshening up we will leave for local sightseeing in the city like City Palace, a blend of European, Medieval and Chinese style architecture, Lake Pichola an artificial wonder bordered by hills, palaces and temples and Bagore ki Haveli a fort recently converted to museum to showcase the royal collections, etc. By the day end, we will be back to the hotel for some tempting dinner and night stay.
Day 3: Fateh sagar Lake, Monsoon Palace, Haldighati and Nathdwara
Wake up, get ready, have breakfast and prepare yourself for full day sightseeing Udaipur city. First on the list is Fateh Sagar Lake an artificial lake constructed under the surveillance of Maharana Fateh Singh. This is followed by Monsoon Palace which was supposed to be a 9 storied astronomical observatory to record the arrival of monsoon; unfortunately, couldn’t be completed. Next up is Haldighati where the battle between Maharana Pratap and Akbar took place. By the eve, we will visit Nathdwara a temple dedicated to Shrinath ji. From there we will move back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Chittorgarh Fort and return to Delhi
As the sun shines, wake up, get ready and have breakfast as we will check-out from the hotel. before leaving for Delhi we will visit Chittorgarh Fort, known for its terrific history that relates with the sacrifice of Rani Padmavati and other women of the kingdom. Explore deeper as you visit the fort. From there, we will leave for Delhi The moment we reach Delhi, the trip terminates here.
